water safety classes

Are you interested in becoming a lifeguard, or do you need to re-certify so your certificate remains valid? Are you a certified lifeguard who would like to pass your knowledge on to others? If so, check out our classes!

The first step to becoming a lifeguard is to register and pass the Friday swim test. This is a requirement for all candidates seeking certification. After passing the swim test, you are eligible to take the weekend’s Lifeguarding class.

We are also pleased to offer CPR/First Aid certification classes which are conducted in a classroom setting.

AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARD PREREQUISITE SWIM TEST

All students must register for the prerequisite swim test in order to participate in the lifeguarding course. There are no refunds for the failure of the prerequisite swim test. You may pay for the full lifeguarding course after passing the swim test.
