No matter the occasion, there’s always a reason to celebrate at the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex. Our party options and onsite concessions guarantee you’ll be able to make the most of your big day!
All parties are 3 hours long. Splashdown Park and Program Pool parties are required to be booked at least two weeks prior to requested booking date.
After-hours rentals are 2 hours long. Splashdown Park After-Hours Rentals are required to be booked at least 1 month prior to requested booking date.

Package Overview
Parties are 3 hours long with 1.5 hours in the party room and 1.5 hours in the Program Pool
Party hosts may arrive 30 minutes prior to start time to set up.
Reservations include access to the open portion of the Program Poo and poolside bleachers. The Program Pool is the facility’s shallow depth pool with depths ranging from 3’6” to 4’6”. It includes a zero-depth entry ramp, stairs, and in-water bench. The temperature is maintained at 85 degrees Fahrenheit. There is a shower on deck for swimmers to rinse off before and/or after swimming. Lifejacket are available to use.
A lifeguard is on duty at all times.
Program Pool parties are not private reservations. All amenities other than the party room will be shared with the public.
Availability for Program Pool parties is not guaranteed until 6 weeks prior to requested date.
Splashdown Park Party

Splashdown Park parties include three hours of entry into the Aquaplex Splashdown Park.
Party hosts may arrive 30 minutes prior to start time to set up.
Splashdown Park parties are held 100% outdoors. Party Guests will have access to an exclusive, shaded seating area for the duration of the party.
Splashdown Park parties are not private reservations. All amenities other than the exclusive seating area will be shared with the public.
Splashdown Park parties are limited to a maximum of 30 total guests, swimming or non-swimming.
*Disclaimer – The Splashdown Park is open seasonally, WEATHER PERMITTING. If the Splashdown Park closes due to inclement weather or any unforeseen circumstance on the day of a scheduled party, the party may be rescheduled for another date based on availability. Refunds are not offered for closures due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

After Hours Splashdown Park rental with full private access to Splashdown Park!

Party Policies
Most reservations will use our Multipurpose Room as the Party Room. This space can accommodate parties of up to approximately 60-70 guests. SplashDown Park parties have a maximum of 30 total guests.
Waivers are required for entry. Please ask your guests create an account at www.hamptonaquaplex.com prior to their arrival. All guests must have an account with the Aquaplex, whether or not they are participating in the party. If guests have not created an account before their arrival, they can do so on arrival, which will take a few minutes.
The host family may arrive up to 30 minutes before their scheduled party time to begin setting up the space with any decorations they choose to bring. Guests should not plan on arriving before the party start time and may be asked to wait in the lobby.
Decorations should be limited to balloons or tabletop only. Only painter’s tape can be used to adhere decorations to the wall so we discourage wall decorations. Decorations are subject to approval of the Aquaplex staff.
The first 1.5 hours of the Pool party is held in the pool. The remaining 1.5 hours is spent in our party room where you can eat and play party games.
The Party Room will be set up for the number of guests paid for. Additional guests are welcome but may not swim unless a day pass is purchased at the front desk.
Program Pool Parties are limited to the Program Pool and the designated party room. Use of the Competition Pool, hot tub, and diving boards are not included in the reservation and may not be used.
Program pool parties allow outside food to be brought into the designated party room. Food is not allowed to be brought or consumed on the pool deck. Alcohol is not permitted on HVA Aquaplex property.
Parties held in the Program Pool require at least 1 adult chaperone per 8 children ages 7+ to remain in the pool area. For children 6 and under, each child must have a chaperone in the program pool area with them. All non-swimming guests may wait and watch from the bleachers in the Program Pool area.
Parties at SplashDown Park depend heavily on the weather. If you decide to reschedule your party before your party date due to impending weather, your party may move to another available date and time. On the day of your party, if weather forces the closure of SplashDown Park, you have the option of choosing from the following:
- Relocating your party indoors if the indoor Party Room and Program Pool are available. Availability is not guaranteed.
- Rescheduling your party.
- Receiving a refund for your party minus the non-refundable deposit.
How to Book Your Party
STEP 1) Complete the booking request form below.
STEP 2) If you do not have one yet, create a Hampton Virginia Aquaplex account by clicking HERE.
STEP 3) Wait for a member of our events team to contact you, confirm the details of your party, and send you an invoice.
STEP 4) Once your invoice is created and emailed to you, it is saved under your Hampton Aquaplex account. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your party date and time. If a deposit is not paid, another party may be offered the spot. Remaining balance is due 2 week prior to the event.
